About Blacktrack

Blacktrack is a privately owned limited company registered in the UK. It was founded in 2004 with the sole aim of developing and bringing Blacktrack crash recorders to the market.

The Technical Director is Ian Armstrong BSc, MSc in electronics. The Marketing Director is Ian Hill who is a mechanical engineer and who has extensive experience in marketing in the global automotive industry.

Blacktrack crash recorders are manufactured in the UK using the latest Europlacer automatic pick and place machines which guarantees a high quality product. The manufacturing process is lead free and complies with all relevant standards for electronic equipment. Products are CE marked. All major sub contractors are ISO 9000.
